Halloween Quilt

I hope everyone had a fun Labor day weekend!

Look what is on my homemade design wall!
I pieced this Halloween project today. I decided to enter “What is on your Design wall?” at Judy’s blog.

It’s a simple project. It’s a panel and I made a stripe border around it and then I pieced another border. Now it needs to be quilted on time for Halloween. I love the colors on the quilt!

Happy sewing!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I am not Irish, but my favorite color is green, so
Happy St. Patrick’s
day friends!
I just put on a green sweater so I won’t get pinched ! 🙂
I am still learning about the holiday. It’s also called Shamrock’s day.
According to legend, St. Patrick used the shamrock , a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish.

I like a post with a picture, so here is a photo of my Pineapple quilt:

I had fun quilting it! I started quilting it on my Janome and finished it on my new Baby Lock 🙂

Here is a close up of the quilting. I did free motion quilting.
I have a lot to learn, but I had fun quilting it! 🙂

Happy St. Patrick’s day!
